Republicans are making a bigger deal out of Obama's wife than Democrats have made out of Cindy McCain. Hannity and Limbaugh have been vomiting more about her comments than it deserves.
I'm tuning into Hannity regularly again, only this time I'm on the opposite side. Seriously, how this guy convinced me to vote for GW in 2004 speaks to his brilliance in duping stupid people. I was looking over No. 1 Radical Liberal in the Senate's plans for stuff like education. Read some of these radical ideas -- providing a $4,000 tax credit for most students, which could make community college free and cover 2/3 of the average tuition at a public university. Also, he plans to simplify the Financial Aid process. Radical! And making it MANDATORY that children get coverage.
Ohmygod we'll have to rename it the United States of Communism and replace the Bible with Karl Marx literature! Sean Hannity would scoff at those sick kids. "Pick your scrawny ass up by the boot straps and get a JOB," he would say. Neo-conservatives are the biggest bunch of [expletive] anymore.

I don't really lump the McCains in with Hannity. Especially since Hannity doesn't even like McCain.
Either way, I don't care what radio hosts have to say. Or Cindy McCain for that matter. If a potential first lady's a little hypocritical, I find it hard to get worked up over.

You have to admit that it's pretty amusing that just yesterday she was bringing up Michelle Obama's comments again and stating that she doesn't feel the need to apologize for making an issue out of it, and the very next day, after a Democratic pundit makes it clear they're going to play turnabout if this keeps up, she's done a 180.

First lady stuff is a lot deeper than I want to wade in the election pool. She's a flawed person. That doesn't surprise me. FWIW, I think Michelle Obama's comments are more relevant to public affairs than Cindy McCain's addiction problems. Either way, I just don't care much what either of them has to say, anymore than I cared what Obama's preacher had to say. I like both the candidates, so I hope the coverage stays on policy matters. Stuff like this is why I avoid TV news and radio shows in general. It's all about trying to find the outrage of the day and playing "gotcha." Wake me up when the debates start.

He didn't until McCain went from being maverick centrist to maverick neo-con who will change his position on anything to appease the Karl Rove wing of the party.

I know, I was just writing down what I've been hearing. I don't care either, but I do find it alarming that people are willing to swallow [expletive] so easily.

You should move to Missouri, where my vote won't count either.
The latest polls show that Obama is projected to win New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Virginia, New Mexico, Colorado.

Now the latest assessment (thanks to David Brooks) is that Obama is a Chicago Machiavelli, whom political opponents have taken too lightly because he speaks well and wears a suit.
