You're looking at the best case scenario. I am looking at the most likely scenario. Translation: I am the one analyzing the results and objectively saying this is what should be expected. You're the one praying to God hoping something happens. Which is better?

No, I am looking at projections which indicate that Rasmus has that potential. You are ignoring all but the lower ranges of his potential value, and assuming we'll take your word over people who put their projections out in the open and subject them to testing when you wishcast Rasmus as a borderline All-Star and Anderson as a C prospect.

No, I am not ignoring them. His I think he has a very good chance into developing into a .300 EqA CF. However the line you guys spit out is closer to a .320 CFer. Do you know how many .320 EqA CFers there are in history? Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ken Griffey Jr, Ty Cobb, Willie Mays, Tris Speaker.

Am I forgetting any? I don't think so. That's INSANE. Rasmus is probably the third, fourth or fifth best centerfield prospect right now when it comes to overall potential. Bruce and Maybin are ahead of him and you can make your case for Fernando Martinez, and McCutchen and maybe Carlos Gonzalez. So you also have to say the same things about those five prospects.

Making suggestions like that are always insane, even for the top ten prospects. You're basically saying Rasmus could become the second best centerfielder of the last 50 years. Come on. That's not likely and the chance is so remote it's not worth dreaming about.
