Very impressed with Kip Wells in last 2 starts. Hopefully he'll keep it up for the rest of the year.

Wells is going to be a bargain if he keeps this up

The movement he's getting on these pitches is, well, exciting. Even the ones he's missed really haven't been missing by much, for most of the first part of the game I felt like he was getting squeezed but maybe the plate's opening up a bit now(not that he needs it when he can make Morgan Ensberg and Biggio swing the way they swung in those last two ABs).

Gosh, Wells is dealing.

Looks like his slider can makes some RHB look stupid.

I'd like to say that I always thought Wells was a great, great signing. His stuff is very good, plus with Duncan in the NL again, I expect him to have a big year.

Yeah, and that sinker has been fouled into a ton of shins/feet so far. A nice "heavy" sinker will be a good thing for this team.

Wonder how Preston would do against it?

You know, looks like he handles the bat OK and runs pretty well for a pitcher. And no, I'm not saying that just because of that seeing eye grounder than happened just as I was typing this.
