I've got one of these in my fridge at the moment, so I don't think it's fictitious. I'll probably pick up some more when I go to Chicago in a couple weeks.cards2468 wrote:don't worry about it, it's a fictitious beer they made up just to anger St. Louisianshaltz wrote:I'm pretty sure you can't find DFH anywhere in St. Louis and I'd appreciate if y'all would stop talking about until it can be purchased here.

One of the few I haven't tried. The Dogfish brewery owner has become really interested in ancient beer recipes in the fast few years. They've started working with various restaurants doing these "ancient ale" dinners, where dogfish creates beers based on archeological evidence of old beer recipes and the restaurants create a menu to pair with it. Awesome idea.redbirdjazzz wrote:I've got one of these in my fridge at the moment, so I don't think it's fictitious. It's good. Really more like a wine than any beer I've ever had. I recommend it. I'm definitely interested in the others in the ancient ale series too.G.
