I'm Ok with Sherman doing this postgame, I just turn it off. With a short violent playing career, it does take cajones to trash talk....in my NFL dreams, I keep my mouth shut, and let my game do the talkin you Mo Fos.

It's not like he's on the internet talking smack - he will be exposed someday, by some younger better punk.

Has anyone blamed the media yet? Ok I will. The problem with the showboats and trash talkers is media latches onto them -keeping the camera trained on them and hyping them to be better than they are. It's a team game. Warren Sapp, he was very good - but he was on the sideline 1/3 of defensive snaps,and the camera followed him there. Too many other examples to mention.

Again, AW was right. It would almost be more acceptable if what he said was somewhat original. Getting in front of a camera to tell everyone how great you are...................anyone, and I mean ANYONE could pull that off. It's not even original coming from a 12 year old, much less a grown man. I think it's sad that people consider trash talk and chest-thumping "refreshing". Is that where we're at now?

Good grief, if I hear 1 more time about his degree, I think I'm going to scream. Somewhere around 50% of NFL players have college degrees. It's pretty much irrelevant, but seems to be included in every story with regard to Sherman.

Everyone talks about Manning too...is that selfish as well.

Manning NEVER brings attention to himself (unless you're talking about the comical SNL skits or the Papa John's commercials, which take nothing away from hsi team). Have you ever watched one of his post-game interviews? "My line did a tremendous job blocking for us, and our defense did a great job of getting the ball back for us. My receivers made some terrific catches".

Everyone is talking about Manning because he's arguably having the best year that an NFL quarterback has had ............. ever, not because he got in front of a camera and told the world that he's the best, like Sherman did.

He's still in front of the camera...the front face of the team...whenever someone talks about the Broncos, it's about Manning...

Just because someone talks the talk and can back it up, doesn't make him selfish...Sherman did his job when it was on the line, props to him...and he can brag if he wants, no one else did it but him. It's harmless IMHO.

Completely agree........... he can do it if he wants to, but let's call it what it is, childish and selfish. Even his coach says so, and Sherman himself has acknowledged it. As I said, don't manufacture storm clouds and them act like you're stunned when the rain falls.

oh lighten up francis....did i say it was original? no, it was refreshing because people don't even pay attention to post-game interviews anymore because they are soooooooooooooo boring and cliche.

dude plays with a lot of passion and he was fired up...so what if he blew up on camera. everyone was laughing at that jets player who came flying into the camera and talking about all the non-believers and keyshawn and tom jackson. CANT WAIT.

and i was merely pointing out the fact that i thought it was funny he has a degree in communication.
