The story in a nutshell. An underwater camera, left in video mode, gets lost at sea in Aruba in November. On the 15th of January a sea turtle manages to turn the camera on and video tapes a 5 minute journey with the camera attached to it, followed by 15 minutes of the camera floating along until the batteries die. In May a guy finds it washed ashore in Key West, Florida. By now the camera is dead and there is a serrated tooth inside the waterproof casing.

The guy in Florida, with the help of scubaboard.com members, is able to use photos and videos left on the memory card to deduct where the camera came from and they finally get the camera back to its original owner.

I spent a few hours just reading the whole process on the forums. Pretty interesting detective work.
