Nice end to the season of Breaking Bad, but I don't want to wait this long to find out the aftermath.

Okay, nice end to the season for real (Guess they increased the number of episodes this season by one at some point), and again I don't want to wait.

For real, best show on television. You now have several months to catch up if you are not cool enough to already be watching it.

I was actually getting a little annoyed by his character today. He's utterly out of place on a show about people bungling their way through their bad decisions. Trying to portray him as a regular single parent strikes me as just a cheap gimmick when every other time he's on the screen he just flips a switch and turns into Jason Bourne. Gus is already on the show to represent the ruthlessness of the entrenched criminal world, and the fate that awaits Walt if he continues to embrace it, so I'm not sure what thematic purpose he fills, and frankly they've had to make him a cartoonish figure to get him more screen time.

Ricky Gervais is going to appear in an episode of the next season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Should be great, but I wouldn't mind it if they took another angle than 'Ricky's delusions of grandeur,' which he usually does when he plays himself--that bit is still really funny to me, but I'm not sure it ought to be. Something else could be a lot better.

Also, Ricky and Stephen Merchant (who very well may be the funnier of the duo) are working on another show for BBC/HBO. That's fantastic news

I'd still love to see Gervais on the U.S. Office.

edit: That man must bleed money. His shows aired on BBC and then HBO. He's collecting money on seven (!) versions of The Office. He's got his (fairly lame) movies. After the first season, you were supposed to pay for the podcasts, which now have been repackaged as an animated show.

plus i think he's written some childrens books and if/when he does a show/tour (though i dont think he actually tours), so hes got those monies too

I've been re-watching all of the Dexter episodes.

Watching the Season 4 Finale Right now.

There's so much that I hate about it.
[SHOW]
This is the season he starts to feel. He feels remorse, hate, anger, jealousy. Everything. Punches the neighbor, protects Arthur's son, regrets the photographer. 'Harry' Tells him to deal with it the whole time. But he doesn't. And every day he didn't deal, made it worse. He's like Sisyphus. Pushing the boulder of humanity up the slope of humanity, a brother, a friend, a family. As soon as one seems within reach it gets spoiled.
But I suppose life isn't always a happy ending.

I think that's what makes the season so good. That and John Lithgow is awesome

I'm the first person who hates happy endings.

But it's almost like they avoided the ending.

In other shows/movies the 'hero' gets all the breaks for the better, this was almost the opposite.

But it makes me more curious what happens in the future.
[SHOW]
A lot of people got annoyed with Rita. But I liked her growth as a character, it made sense and gave Dexter and herself added depth. There was lots of things that made her justifiable stronger, and grown as character. She didn't change just to change. She changed him for the better, for good reasons. I'm gonna miss her and the dynamic she adds to the show
That or chalk up to alcohol.
