Poor Christians, always getting persecuted. You must have missed where I called Herm Edwards a hypocrite, same as I called Tony Dungy.

Read this very carefully: this isn't about religion. This is about someone having crappy opinions and claiming to be religious and open at the same time. When someone calls out a Christian it's not because of their faith itself, it's for the selective, hypocritical practicing of that faith.

I get it now. It's OK to have crappy opinions, as long as you're not a Christian. That kinda gives a free pass to the non-Christians, doesn't it?

Hahaha, no. Crappy opinions should always get called out regardless of faith. You just can't call them a hypocrite on top of that because they aren't claiming to be something they're not. Get it now?

Except Christians aren't claiming to be perfect. They are prone to mistake & bad judgment, also.

I didn't say they were. But they do claim to love and accept everyone. You can't claim to love someone you are actively trying to deny basic rights and discriminate against. That's a weird kind of love, is it not?

As Christians, we TRY to love and accept everyone, but we're not perfect. We still have policy disagreements, moral disagreements.............. we're never going to all agree on everything. That doesn't mean that we can't love each other, though.

I'm not going to debate the gay marriage thing here. To be honest, I'm a conflicted Christian, with regard to that. I don't oppose it, and I'm not going to defend Tony Dungy's stance on it. Never have. That being said, I think that Dungy does far more good for people than he does bad.

All of that being said, I don't think his faith had anything to do with his comments............. but there are certainly those who disagree.

I'm halfway through my screenplay which I'm also going to direct and star in as Michael Sam/Tony Dungy, or maybe Tony Dungy/Michael Sam called 'Freaky Sunday' in which Tony Dungy and Michael Sam switch places after simultaneously rubbing a football and saying 'he has it so easy.' After everyone sees the hilarity that ensues and my Oscar acceptance speech, I think the world will reach a new level of understanding. .

Speaking of distractions (I couldn't find a Manziel thread):

Sources tell the Cleveland Plain Dealer the Browns have been "alarmed" by the off-field actions of Johnny Manziel since trading up to select him with the 22nd overall pick in May's draft.

The Plain Dealer reports the team was particularly bothered by a picture that surfaced of Manziel rolling a $20 bill in a bar bathroom, suggestive of someone preparing to use snort cocaine. "Some in the organization feel he's lost ground in the quarterback competition heading into camp," adds beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot. Manziel reportedly "regressed in practice" this spring, and team brass believes it resulted from "not enough dedication to the playbook." Sources also told Cabot the Browns "have been stunned by his non-stop antics" off the field. All signs continue to point to Brian Hoyer starting Week 1 against the Steelers.
