If you treat them like they are college games, that makes it a little more interesting. It wasn't terrible. I'll prolly tune in more an add action on the games to make them that much more interesting.
Didn't watch much, but one thing that was a brilliant idea was to let the audience into the replay booth. No secret I hate replay, but watching the replay official watch the replays, asking for different views, and make decisions made the time go by faster and understand wtf was happening.
i went to a watering hole on saturday afternoon and asked them to switch a tv to it, i was kinda embarrassed to ask. anyways, sorta watched maybe the last quarter of the first game on saturday. i had the early game turned on sunday at home but was doing other things/piddling around. i'm honestly not sure i can say i "watched" it, er i don't really remember much but i suppose i did help their rating. oh, well, i do remember seeing lots of sideline interviews.
I watched the Battlehawks game at a bar with some people yesterday and we enjoyed it. The level was pretty much on par with preseason NFL but that was all I was really expecting, especially with no preseason games and all of the rosters playing against another team for the first time together. I would expect the quality of play to get better but in the end it is football with St. Louis on the screen and the Battlehawks went on the road as 9.5 point underdogs and brought home a win from a team that the 'experts' assume will win it all this year. I'm good with that.
I really liked all the access to the players, play calls, replay booth and such as well. That all was pretty cool to see and hear.
