now, I'm not sure who Clifford or Ernestine are, but I think I might have gotten an errant email of some sort. Surely Ernestine is an inside person who has inside info they're passing along to Clifford and I am not meant to see this. Heck, it appears to be a casual conversation between two friends, neither of which is me. Look no further than the subject line of "sup", which, I gather, is slang the kids use today as a greeting (short for "what is up my friend"). If only they left a link I could click on. Maybe if I reply and masquerade as this Clifford fellow I might be able to make some money off this inside info.

The homosexual/drag queen/she-male lobby in Congress is aggressively pushing three bills that will add “sexual orientation” and/or “gender identity” to federal law.

These bills are designed to make a person’s changeable sexual orientation and changeable gender identity into federally-protected minorities. These bills will threaten religious freedom, free speech, privacy issues involving restrooms and shower facilities, and business employment policies.

The bills being pushed are:
1. H.R. 2015, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2007.
2. S. 1105, the Kennedy-Smith Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007.
3. H.R. 2232, the Clarification of Federal Employment Protections Act.

Employment Non-Discrimination Act Mark Up Postponed Until Next Week
September 20, 2007 – The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA, H.R. 2015) was supposed to have been marked up in committee on September 19. However, the Democrats have yet to schedule a mark up in committee because they have been unable to work out all the problems they face with this far-reaching bill. The homosexuals want a vote by October 3rd when there will be a large gathering of homosexuals and transgenders who will honor Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). A major homosexual activist group has promised to fight any changes to religious exemptions in this bill. ENDA should be soundly defeated. It is important that we keep up the pressure on the Democrats.

“This legislation will give the homosexual/transgender movement federal status as a protected class under the law,” said TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty. “If this happens, they will be able to push for every kind of ‘right’ granted only to legitimate minority groups. In addition, businesses will be forced to adjust their hiring practices, restroom and shower room policies to bow to the demands of she-males and other individuals who have bizarre sexual orientations. ENDA cannot be fixed. It must be defeated or vetoed by President Bush.”

During the hearing on ENDA every pro-ENDA panelist carefully avoided mentioning the fact that protecting “gender identity” in the law will force businesses and non-profits to cater to the whims of cross-dressers, transsexuals, drag queens, and she-males.

Chief sponsor of ENDA, homosexual activist legislator Barney Frank (D-MA), for example, referred to emotionally troubled individuals with a different gender identity than their birth sex as “these people,” and pleaded for federally-protected status for them. Yet, “these people” were never permitted to sit on the panel nor to discuss why they think businesses should bow to their wishes on restroom and shower policies.

Apparently, Rep. Frank believes that “these people” should remain invisible until ENDA is passed. His attitude towards these troubled individuals was demeaning and shocking to us. TVC’s Special Report on H.R. 2015 is must reading and should be in the hands of every U.S. Representative.

ENDA will make a Gender Identity Disorder (GID) into a federally-protected class. ’Gender identity’ is a fuzzy concept not grounded in any discernible characteristic like race. Why doesn’t Frank tell us that his bill is going to force American businesses to cater to the demands of individuals with a mental illness? A man who has his private parts cut off in order to pretend to be a woman, needs long-term therapy, not federally-protected class status.

TAKE ACTION: Contact your U.S. Representative and ask that he or she vote NO on ENDA – regardless of what language may be changed in the bill. Use TVC’s Special Report for your talking points in your email through CapWiz.
