Our PP killing unit/system was all that changed?

Some of the coaching staff was replaced, too. Honestly, I'm not sure if their PP schemes are the same or not. But to the eye, it looks like the same deal on the PP as with 5-on-5... indecisive with the puck, passes not tape to tape, shooters not taking shots fast enough or simply going for one too many passes when they should just shoot it. It all speaks to uncertainty and thinking too much. Which makes me think it's still adjusting to the system in general.

That was their best game of the season by far.

I don’t know what Berube’s issue with vrana was, but he’s been awesome on both sides every time I watch. He single handedly kept it a 1 score lead by lifting the stick of the devil right as he was about to tap that one in.

Yup. Really good game last night. Will be interesting to see if they can keep it up tonight with back to back games.

Twas a good weekend of hockey. Offense has come alive a bit. And against pretty decent teams, too.

Avoid long losing streaks like we had last year, keep working hard, stay in the hunt into the new year, and see where we land in April!!

Two steps forward, one step back.

Last night's game was frustrating. We came out pretty strong, had a power play that looked pretty good but just couldn't bury it. Then a few minutes later, Jets get a power play and they score almost immediately. Then they scored again on another power play and started to trap us in neutral ice better. We still managed at least half a dozen very high danger opportunities, but screwed most of them up one way or another.

The effort wasn't bad, but the results were crap. Gonna be like that often this year.

Just need a short memory and keep on giving full effort and playing as a team. I could easily see them get down and sloppy if they have 3 or 4 losses in a row like that.

Our PP is comically pathetic

A 4 min PP, 2 of which was 5 on 3, and had a grand total of 2 shots!

I’m pretty sure we have scored 1 PP goal this season

Oh and Scotty P looks awesome out there. Passes are perfect and fast as hell. Great on his skates so keeps opposing players away from the net.

But yeah, let’s not play him but like 1 game every other week for like 10 mins a game
