I don't follow close but it seems like every season goes like this:

1. Good start
2. Big midseason slump, Blues sink in the standings
3. Team comes alive in the last six weeks
4. Blues look great in first round
5. Lose in second round

Schenn and Petro going to their first all-star games; only two Blues to make it.

It seems absurd Petro has never gone before.

The west is packed so freakin’ tight this season. Blues look like they’re in a comfortable spot just 1 point back of the division lead, but with 4 more games played than the Preds and 2 more than the Jets. Yet they’re only 6 points up on a playoff spot, again with a few more games played than the group that is sitting there. Amazingly the Blackhawks(!) are last in the Central despite a positive goal differential.

Tough year. Blues can’t afford to keep having stretches of poor play.

Yeah, seriously. Yesterday afternoon I almost posted that 2 wins in a row might have the team back on track, but wow, to get spanked by Arizona. That's bad.
