It was burn your face cold this morning. Now it's just raw - 37 and gray and windy, and there is some snow moving in tomorrow. 1-3". I see in St. Louis you are in the 60's tomorrow and 70's on Tuesday and this highlights how depressing our spring is up here. Winter just hangs on for another 3-4 weeks around here.

edit .. AND it's snowing right now. Son of a [expletive].

That was the absolute worst commute of the year. It took my wife almost an hour and a half (30 is normal). She has to get in 355, and that was a parking lot. My 25-30 minute was 45, but it was terrifying.

It's a full fledged blizzard.

Last night they were saying up to an inch, and now that 3 has already falling and it's coming down like gangbusters they have changed it to 5. BRILLIANT! These weather guys are on the ball.

I was looking at the Storms Prediction Center website to see what they were thinking about the severe weather we are supposed to get in the next few days when I saw they had a mesoscale discussion out for heavy snow in the Chicago area. I was greatful I don't live in Chicago. Here we are just four hours south and it's still spring. Birds chirping, grass greening, and so on.

Here's the view from my office. I'd say yours has its charms.

Not complaining about my office view, that semi-circle thing below is a fountain and in the summer that's kind of nice to have right out front. Just over yonder about 1/2 mile is a herd of about 75 bison, a pond with bass, bluegill, and carp just past the parking lot that I can walk to at lunch. I can complain about the weather and my job, but I won't complain about the office.
