This was a lose-lose scenario for humanity with the league's two most deplorable teams playing in the Super Bowl. I was hesitantly rooting for Seattle because I see them as the lesser of two evils, so New England winning was a disappointment. But I do find some consolation in the fact that it was a heartbreaking and humiliating loss for Seattle. If New England fans are happy, at least it is balanced out a little by Seattle fans being inconsolable, Pete Carroll being humiliated, and the Seahawks looking like sore losers in front of the whole world.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll have a Vine of those dancing sharks on repeat for the next eight hours.

I was hoping Meteorite would pull it out in the end.

I guess I've lost my sports hate mojo. i just thought it was a fun game to watch except for the part where my 14 y/o made me miss the go ahead TD and the bulk of the Seattle drive.

Imagine if its bottom of the 9th, down by a run, game 7 of the WS and you have a runner on third with two outs.
Pete Carroll called for a straight steal of home.

To complete the analogy, you have Mike Trout at the plate.

So I heard a lot of talk about how a win would cement Seattle as a legendary defense. If they hadn't defecated the sheets there, do you think that's true? They didn't really play great defense yesterday or against GB.

More like a runner on third, no outs. That touchdown was basically a foregone conclusion.
