Yes. The TV commentary of the dunk contest that constantly tries to reassure us that the Dunk Contest is BACK.

Glad I didn't watch. You can see everything online in less than two minutes anyway.

I caught a two minute highlight on NBA.com. DeRozan won it very easily, but I guess without something like a dozen " DeMar Dunk Girls" shaking their asses or costumes or props, it's not going to work that way. Griffin's dunks were all pretty lame (in relativity of course). He has the best dunks in-game of the year, I won't argue that.

Oh come on, this year it was great. Barkley commentary makes it worth it alone, but there were some great dunks this year. They rigged it for Griffin, and as a result the final round was a dud, but the whole first round was awesome.

Of course it's corny, but it's funny at the same time. Besides, DeRozan did get a 50 for the dunk in which he did nothing to hype the crowd.

Carmelo Anthony traded to New York Knicks in blockbuster deal
The Carmelo Anthony trade saga is finally over.

The Nuggets traded Melo to the New York Knicks tonight, a league source said. Denver gets Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, the Knicks 2014 first-round draft pick, the Warriors' 2012 second-round pick, the Warriors' 2013 second-round pick and $3 million in cash.

Anthony will go to New York, along with Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman.

Anthony was not at the Nuggets' practice as the team resumed workouts following the All-Star break. Billups left the team's Monday practice without speaking to reporters.

Nuggets coach George Karl, after learning of the trade, said:

"I'm glad its over."

Reasonably good return for the Nuggets, considering they really didn't have any leverage.

I've heard of zero of those guys, but looking at my Sporcle scores, you probably already knew that.

Chandler is a pretty decent player. He's an athletic power forward that's talented enough to play SG on a bad team. He'll be a good 6th man for Denver. Felton is a PG that doesn't have a great jump shot, doesn't necessarily play good defense, but does just about everything else well. Good court vision and finds a way to score. Gallinari has good potential. He has a good outside shot, which is valuable consider his 6'10" height. Mozgov is a big Russian 7'1" center. Dime a dozen.

New York is getting Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman from Denver.

Billups is a veteran PG with a great shot that he uses too much. Williams is a good defender down low, but can't do much else. Carter is an old back up PG. Balkman is an awful SF without much potential.

EDIT- New York is also getting Melo obviously.

I would've laughed my head off if Anthony Carter used his NTC in this deal.

Ready for Thursday to get here. The Hornets have been linked to a lot of players, including but not limited to Antawn Jamison, Brandan Wright, Corey Maggette, Troy Murphy and Carl Landry.

Their best bet is to trade Marcus Thornton for one of those guys (and whatever else for salary) or a 1st (since we don't have one because of the nonsensical Jerryd Bayless trade). He's a good player (scorer, anyways) who just doesn't fit New Orleans' system.
