FYI
1.00–OBJECTIVES OF THE GAME
1.01 Baseball is a game between two teams of nine players each, under
direction of a manager, played on an enclosed field in accordance with
these rules, under jurisdiction of one or more umpires.
1.02 The offensive team’s objective is to have its batter become a runner,
and its runners advance.
1.03 The defensive team’s objective is to prevent offensive players from
becoming runners, and to prevent their advance around the bases.
1.04 When a batter becomes a runner and touches all bases legally he
shall score one run for his team.
1.05 The objective of each team is to win by scoring more runs than the
opponent.
1.06 The winner of the game shall be that team which shall have scored,
in accordance with these rules, the greater number of runs at the conclusion
of a regulation game.

Probably, but I hardly see where one’s cockamamie views about homosexuality hinder one’s ability to write about the Cardinalscardsfansince82 wrote:Are we comparing apples to elephants?Tim wrote:Kyrie Irving thinks the earth is flat. I wouldn't care if this was just some dolt who's against Pride Night or whatever. This is a dangerous line of thinking that led to gays being chemically castrated, lobotomized, etc. We can disagree on issues but if you can't draw a line on some things and people that are unacceptable under any circumstance, we can't have an honest discussion.Tim wrote:Probably, but I hardly see where one’s cockamamie views about homosexuality hinder one’s ability to write about the Cardinalscardsfansince82 wrote:Are we comparing apples to elephants?Tim wrote:Kyrie Irving thinks the earth is flat. Is the psychiatric community, of which I am a part, advocating for homosexuality be added to the DSM?MrCrowesGarden wrote:

I can draw a line in a great many places. The right to dumb thinking, as long as their actions aren't hurting anyone, isn't one of them.
If this guy was advocating, pushing legislation, trying to get homosexuals chemically castrated, then I can understand SB Nation not wanting to hire the guy.
If the guy is a good blogger (I've never read him), but wasn't hired because of his antiquated beliefs on homosexuality, then I think that is ridiculous. But I also believe SB Nation has that right.

Re: Random musings
I guess my point is that I don't go to VEB to read political/religious/psychiatric view points. Not sure why their writer's thoughts on those subjects would matter.
