In my opinion the key using the dashboard is pressing the xbox button on the controller to get the quick actions on the left hand side. I also pin my favorite media apps to the front page.
I DL'd gears 4

Very cool. Gimme a couple days to do a crash course on Gears and let's hit it. It didn't immediately strike me that I needed a headset, so it's been ordered...Should have it no later than Friday.

One guy I know is not what you would call technologically adept and I am still laughing over a story he told a month ago. He went to play Mortal Kombat online for the first time and while he was getting his butt kicked over and over he kept hearing the kids he was playing talk trash to him. Just filthy name calling and all of that you expect only he didn't know it was the person he was playing. He thought he was hallucinating. He was yelling back at the TV but since he doesn't have a headset he could hear them through his TV but they couldn't hear him obviously. Somebody finally told him that he was hearing the other players through chat after he told them he thought he was going crazy. It is also hilarious to hear him go on about how these kids would literally tell him what they were going to do next and then they would do it. He couldn't stop them even when he knew what they were going to do. The guy is an absolute riot when he tells a story and he has a LOT of them since he has not always made the best choices in life.
My other favorite is the time he got in a fight in a gas station parking lot with some guy who was being a bit too physical with a lady during an argument. He said, "I've been playing a lot of UFC on XBox recently so for some reason kicking him in the leg seemed like a good idea and it worked! He went down and that was it. Why did I spend my youth punching people and busting up my knuckles when all I had to do was kick them in the knee?"
He's also the guy that hates men or women cheating on their significant other but follows with, "But what do I know, I was faithful to a married woman for two and a half years."
He's part of what keeps me going back to that bar.

Have you guys gotten the game pass on xbox? I just did the trial. Sea of Thieves is fun but I'm not sure how much replay it has. Fable Anniversary is there too. Just started it last night.
Also some great games coming to backwards compatibility this month. SSX3 and Morrow Wind among others.

I've been big-time delayed in getting started on my Xbox, but I do have that unused game pass trial. I sold Sea of Thieves DL that came with my console for $50 on eBay...Flip it into 2 or 3 games I wanna own. There was one Fable, Fable 2, that I got really involved in. I was seriously disappointed when it ended.

I can't wait to start playing video games again once I'm retired and my kids are grown.

Good month for May. Really excited about Super Mega Baseball 2 because the first one was so good. I was planning on buying 2 so this is a good get.
Vanquish is an underrated classic from last gen.
