How does he choose to do that when the imperative is to make sure he doesnt advance the ball? If 48 isn't going for the ball (he clearly wasn't) why isnt he making sure he wraps himself around the receiver. Baffling.

I really dont know what he was seeing. My only thought is he didnt see how high the ball was and was trying to stay outside of Diggs to keep him inbounds, as well as 2nd quessing on avoiding early contact. Baffling still

The back and forth over the last 3 minutes was something else. As a fan of the Cards and Vikes, 2011 Game 6 was still better.

Clinches the most boring conference championship weekend imaginable and another ring for the Pats. This is one time where death threats would be reasonable.

Can't remember if I ever shared this on here or not, it's not a big deal really but my brother and I always find it amusing.

About 10 years ago or so, my mom, dad, bro and I were in Louisville for thanksgiving staying in my aunts house. My brother and I had the basement which had a TV in it. We were drinking beers at like 3 am catching up trying not to be too loud and had some documentary about MN Viking fans or something on the TV. One of the fans they were following around had cancer and he was at the oncologists office. The doc walks in and asks how the patient (guy in the documentary) was feeling. Obviously, this was a medical checkup and the question was in regards to the patient's health. But, the patient went on what had to be a 30 second if not longer tirade about how he heard a rumor and subsequent callers on a radio show on the way over his way over to the appointment. The topic / rumor was rather or not Culpepper was overrated and if they would be better off trading him.

There were multiple points I could not understand, and it was claer the doctor had no idea what was going on. But, the look on the doctors face at the end was priceless and it was clear the only question the patient wanted answered was "You tell me, who we gun get that's better than Dante Culpeper?" as if being a medical doctor made him the utmost authority on NFL personnel. We laughed so hard that my mom came downstairs and told us to be quiet.

Tonight my brother texts me, "Maybe Keenum is better than Culpepper?"

I hope that patient/fan is still on this side of the dirt and has found some joy.

Culpepper was definitely overrated and Keenum is better.

You just can't leave that much time on the clock for Case Keenum.

(Stole that line from my brother)
