Should I stick with Justified? I watched the first few episodes and it's kind of ridiculous so far.

Season one. I like the characters and the dialogue but it's also kind of shallow and corny at the same time. He's solving cases at a frenetic pace and racking up kills faster than Dexter with seemingly no repercussions. I'd like to see a little more realism and developed storylines than what has happened so far.

This season's story arc was really good. Started out slow and was headed to parts unknown, but turned into a real gem.

JL21, where are your comments?

Just skip to season 2.

I kind of had similar feelings- I wasn't really big on season 1. I thought Raylan was a cool character but the show itself was kind of "meh"- kind of a simple cop procedural.

And even into season 2, it was still kind of that same type of show. But it's only gotten better ever since then.

Short answer: if you're willing to wade through appx. 20 episodes of mediocrity, there are 33 episodes (so far) that take a huge step up.

The shallowness and unrealistic stuff never really goes away, but it gets less pronounced and there's so much more character development to make it worth your while.

I started watching at Season 2 and loved it. But Season 2 starts with the end of a cliff hanger from Season 1. So I got the DVDs and watched from the beginning. It held my interest because I knew what was coming. You can probably skip Season 1 and go right to Season 2. The seasons keep getting better, but 3 had one of the all-time greatest TV villains ever.

Has anyone watched "Vegas"? I had it on tonight while I watched the game on gameday. Pretty cool set design and kind of a neat premise.

I watched the finale last night.
I was yelling at my TV. They can not end the season like that. Not one, but two...
Was it renewed? I can't see it having a 2nd season.
It was.

I finally finished the season, and I stuck with it to the end. It lost a lot of steam for me during the season, but was overall a fairly entertaining show. I don't think I'll watch season 2 though.
