I had a nightmare Wisconsin would play Mizzou in the Citrus Bowl.

Most common projection I've seen so far for Mizzou is to play Clemson in the Citrus Bowl.

Saturdaydownsouth.com has Mizzou in something called a Taxslayer Bowl against Maryland.

If they play Clemson, it could be Armageddon in my family. My brother and his niece both went to Clemson, and he has another daughter living very close right now.

Mizzou vs. Minnesota in the Citrus Bowl.

On one hand, I really don't give a damn about playing Minnesota. On the other hand, I'm thrilled that:

a) they got a new bowl (and one of the more prestigious SEC bowls)

b) they won't be playing Clemson so I don't have to fight half my family

c) they won't be playing Wisconsin so I don't have to fight half my friends

This is good. I would've liked Clemson but it's a New Years Day bowl in Florida, so I won't complain.

Minnesota as an opponent is slightly disappointing(was hoping for Wisconsin or MSU prior to yesterday), but glad that they're playing a B1G team, and on New Year's Day in recruiting territory no less.

Mizzou was picked over Georgia, Auburn, and LSU. That's saying something. I'm pretty thrilled with this invitation.
