Toronto's centerfielder is hitting .203 and has a combined .238 OBP in a half-season's worth of at-bats for his new team.
I've defended that trade at length in this forum, but that still surprises me. I kind of thought he'd bounce back some with a change of scenery but instead he's regressed. Even with the slump that led to the trade he still had a .332 OBP for St. Louis in 2011.

Giants signed Penny to minor league deal. Tho he barely qualifies as a former card.

Why are all the former Cardinals so bad at baseball? Does the pixie dust wear off that quickly?

And did they forget to reissue the pixie dust to Kennedy in his second tour of duty?

Rasmus sat yesterday and today (against Miguel Batista) so he can "work on his timing." Batista left with a bad back after two innings. He has walked approximately a million batters this year.
In the minors forum somebody compared Zack Cox to Brett Wallace. Wallace is hitting 241/273/372 for Oklahoma City this year.
