How deep is my angst? If I saw Michael and David Freese in the same restaurant and only had money for one, I'd buy Michael his meal.

In the words of the immortal Dude, "That's a bummer, man."
Michael and all of the mods--thank you for providing the site, and doing all of the dirty work.
To everyone who posts here, I will remember you all for your unique points-of-view. Except for those of you who I couldn't tell apart in my mind.
GRB has been a wonderful one-stop shop for me to get my information fix each day, whether that is baseball, hockey, or society related. And it could always be counted on to provide a good chuckle.
Farewell GRB. I will miss your bus.

Welp... I guess this isn't an April Fools joke where Lesson takes over the site.
I'm gonna miss this place. It was on my most frequently visited websites for the last ten years. Even when I didn't post for years at a time. Thanks for the memories peeps. I'll always remember posting in like the fifth inning of game 6 when we were down that it was about to be the best Cardinal game in history.
If someone starts a similar site, I'd appreciate an invite. I'll check out the reddit version of grb, but i love the simplicity of this style of site.
Peace.

P.s- Thanks for teaching me about life. I started as a 15 year old Cardinal fan, and am leaving as a 26 year old man. Ya'll put up with me as I discovered alcohol, weed for a few years, went through tough relationships, lost my father, and now as an adult with differing political views. I credit this place for teaching me how to argue my points while staying respectful (most of the time) and for teaching me to reflect on my own opinions and why I have them.
Thanks GRB.

Where does today rank in your all-time worst days?
Easily top 50 for me.

Thanks, Michael. Thanks, Mods. Your community has kept me company through some profound phases of my life. I'll remember those times and the best of what everyone offered here.
Anyone, feel free to PM me if you want to stay in touch and get regular pictures of my robot pencil sharpener.
