Mitchell needs to be more disciplined.

*sigh*
This is why I wasn't trying to get too excited, but you can't win them all. Still, I feel the Bills should make a run to get into the NCAA this year.

Hope Missouri State saw how dangerous the road can be as they travel to Oral Roberts, a pretty good team.
Loyola beat UCLA, and has a pretty solid team. The loss shouldn't be too bad for SLU, though being ranked is over.

For now, yes...for the year? maybe, maybe not. They'd have to make a solid run and knock off Xavier in the process which is doable. I'd still love for them to make the Tourney, and I think they have a pretty good shot at that.phins wrote:Hope Missouri State saw how dangerous the road can be as they travel to Oral Roberts, a pretty good team.

Tough loss, but they've been playing a lot of games lately on the road. They'll get a few days off and finally be back in St. Louis. I'm not worried.

That was only SLU's second road game of the year. The others were neutral court games.cards2468 wrote:Tough loss, but they've been playing a lot of games lately on the road. They'll get a few days off and finally be back in St. Louis. I'm not worried.

I'm pretty confident they'll make the tournament, but getting ranked again is tough because their wins just don't carry the same weight, and any loss knocks them right back down the mountain.TimeForGuinness wrote:For now, yes...for the year? maybe, maybe not.
