I actually miss the 80's because of the cars. You could still find a car like that for not much cash. Here's a patial list of the cars that could be found on the high school lot every day.TimeForGuinness wrote:I love the 442Hudler wrote:

1972 Olds 442 (mine)
1970 Olds Cutlass with a built 455 engine.
1968 Chevy Impala SS427, super rare when it was a new car and scary fast.
1969 Chevy Chevelle SS396, nothing in town could outrun this car.
1968 Chevy Camaro SS
1970 Camaro SS with a really strong 396.
1970 Plymouth GTX
1966 Chevelle SS396
1971 Chevelle SS396, was the best looking car at school till an old lady t-boned it.
I could probably think of some more.
Just for you Mike....M1IRONMIKE wrote:Hudler wrote:I actually miss the 80's because of the cars. You could still find a car like that for not much cash. Here's a patial list of the cars that could be found on the high school lot every day.TimeForGuinness wrote:I love the 442Hudler wrote:

what no circa 1970's chevy van customized to haul 6-10 teenage hoodlums from party to party......

as long as there is a kick ass stereo and some iced down beer inside the vans looks made no difference to me.......throw in some cheerleaders and we were set back in the day!!!!cardinalkarp wrote:Just for you Mike....M1IRONMIKE wrote:Hudler wrote:I actually miss the 80's because of the cars. You could fit more people in the Impala than you could in a van, five more if you count the trunk.M1IRONMIKE wrote:Hudler wrote:I actually miss the 80's because of the cars. I was bored yesterday when I was getting the oil changed on my car so I walked over to the Lamborghini dealership across the street. Damn, those are some beautiful cars. I was checking out this flat black Murcielago they had in the showroom. It was amazing, sticker price on it was $474,000!ThatGuy wrote:
Yes, please.

You could totally talk them down to $472,000, and probably get them to throw in the first oil change for free. Go for it.cardinalkarp wrote:sticker price on it was $474,000!
I had the check written out but unfortunately I couldn't get the salesperson to give me the time of day.Popeye_Card wrote:You could totally talk them down to $472,000, and probably get them to throw in the first oil change for free. Go for it.cardinalkarp wrote:sticker price on it was $474,000!
