Yep. Banged it on Eric Hicks helmet. Warner was already having a bad day BTW. Not as bad as Ryan Leaf or Michael Dogtrainer Vick in their Arrowhead debuts, but pretty bad.

Similar warm welcomes are planned for JaMarcus Russell and Jay Cutler this fall. :D
Ugh.

Little did we know that that was the beginning of the end of his career. If you recall, he also banged his thumb on Hugh Douglas's helmet in the first game of the '01 season against Philly. He was never the same since..

TIT

If memory serves, though, Marc Bulger came in and racked up the yardage that day at Camarohead in 2000.

I call that game the "Blue River Massacre".

I'll never forget the glee Griefs fan took in beating up on the reigning Super Bowl champions from across the state. It was at that point they could no longer say the last major professional championship won in the state was accomplished by a team from KC.

LOL....

.
Correct number, wrong uniform occupant. Some guy named Trent Green was wearing #10 in blue on that fine afternoon.

I believe he's had several more enjoyable afternoons in the NFL's best venue.
