Schumaker had a pitch to hit and tried to knock it over the fence. He came about 75 feet short.

Bennett, C
Miles, 2B
Taguchi, CF
Keisler, P

then usually a little league pitcher could shut you down, whether he was left handed, right handed, or no handed.
The Cardinals have routinely struggled like this against guys they haven't seen before, Lefties, or both for 4 or 5 years at least. It ain't just the lineup.

I'm starting to think Hancock needs to be reevaluated. He hasn't been cutting it for some time.

As soon as I read this, a nice GIDP.

Letting Skip play CF and sitting Edmonds looks like a white flag to me. This lineup didn't have a chance without a big game from Pujols, and he whiffed twice.
