I disagree here. Baseball IMO is the 1 sport where you don't have to be a good athlete to be successful (John Kruk, and Cecil Fielder come to mind). Baseball is a skill game more than any other sport . Being a great all around athlete certainly improves your chances to be a good baseball player but is not a prerequisite. You can possess the greatest athletic ability in the world and still not be able to hit a major league average fastball.
