That's just silly to say. Alfonso Soriano, Aramis Ramirez, Jacque Jones, Mark DeRosa and Cesar Izturis are notorious for being base cloggers. I wouldn't be surprised to see those guys all near a .400 OBP.

Hmmm. I think of Soriano and Jones and Izturis and deRosa as very weak OBP guys. I'm not sure which of you guys is messing with which.

Talk about blanket statements. It's fair to say that many of those projecting the outcomes aren't fans of either team.

I'm talking about the fans commenting on those projections.

Cardinal fans are looking at them and saying, "We might suck!" Cub fans are looking at them and saying, "We might be good!" Even though both teams are right in the same ballpark.

Plus I'm just kidding. There's plenty of Betty Brightsides and Debbie Downers on both sides.
