Jeez this stinks every game. Leadoff double, gets to third, a walk, and the runner stranded at third. This crap gets old.

Dal Maxvill could have done better than these last 2 hitters.

Man, a reference to Dal Maxvill who last played for the Cards 54 years ago! Gotta love that.
Light-hitting for sure, but a good SS and helped the Cards to three World Series in 64, 67, and 68.

Cards GM from 1985 to 1994. Auggie Busch called him Maxwell as often as he called him Maxvill. 87 years old now. Time flies.
