I met a kid named Reverend (don't imagine it was spelled that way though) at the park. My theory was after Horton Heat based on his dad's attire.

Given names are ridiculous and professional athlete nicknames have never been worse or less creative--initials plus number. Goddam millennials.

Oh I've encountered way more Austin kids' names. My son was once in class with a kid named Luckenbach.

My first grader's "boyfriend" is named Briggs.

His best friend's name is Donatello - no he isn't a renaissance sculptor or a Ninja turtle...at least I don't think he is.
