Sam Bankman-Fried was just found guilty on all seven charges of fraud. The jury only needed four hours of deliberation to convict him.

Whatever bitcoin is, it’s pretty resilient. It’s at $35k right now.
I’ve been watching some (fairly annoying, and I feel like I’m not being a curmudgeonly lud in saying so*) videos about the expansive world of crypto shenanigans and straight up fraud. Fascinating stuff.
*Someone linked a Folding Ideas video about NFTs that was great. But most of these YT videos are people trying and failing to do Jon Stewart. No one is trying to tell a story, they are all trying to be a guy, and it sucks because they’re mostly bad at it. Not so different than cable news, and even halfway respectable MSM has its own terrible rage bait problems and our future is doomed. Anyway criticizing YouTube is attacking windmills for sure, but there are few places to go for thoughtful news that at least tips the hat to the concept of objectivity is all, and it’s all trending damnably.

Good news for those of you who purchased a GRB NFT. They're still worth exactly the same value they were when you made your purchase. Solid investment.

I kinda of sort of understand why bitcoin and other cryptos are a thing. I for the life of me never understood nfts.
I will however cherish my Leroy NFT for life.

Re: What the hell is (a) bitcoin?
Bumping this. Crypto is coming on strong again and Trump has made it so that it can be put into various funds. I'm leery of anything he touches but returns have been pretty great this year. I did sell almost all of my ETH holdings earlier this year when it was up around 3k. So now that it touched 4k today I probably missed out but I sold at a really nice profit so no big deal.
Have a couple ALT coins that just continue to do nothing though. It really seems like BTC is the king and there is no reason to believe there aren't still some good gains to be made there.

I dunno man, I'm gonna need kryptopoulin's guidance before I put money on it.
