The Walking Dead-
Despite being a little slow I liked last night's episode. You kind of saw the similiarities in the 3 main people at the Prison and Woodbury(the leader, the muscle, the consigliere).
Does Andrea have an empathy left? I despise her after her flip-flopping blindness the last 5 or so episodes.

i thought last weeks episode was a "slow" one but i still really liked and gave it like 10/10 (if i gave ratings). this was another slow one but i didn't find it as well done. now i certainly understand why this one was slow and their first meeting was interesting/cool but i dunno, i'd give it like a 7 or 8 outta 10. not that that matters of course.robbotis wrote:The Walking Dead-

I agree and would probably rate it a little lower. We really didn't need an hour of "WE'RE NOT SO DIFFERENT, YOU AND I" moments between not only Rick and the Gov, but all the henchmen.Jocephus wrote:i thought last weeks episode was a "slow" one but i still really liked and gave it like 10/10 (if i gave ratings). this was another slow one but i didn't find it as well done. now i certainly understand why this one was slow and their first meeting was interesting/cool but i dunno, i'd give it like a 7 or 8 outta 10. not that that matters of course.
Yes, you're still alive and thus, relateable to other people who are alive. Yes, conditions of the world force people to do bad things and everybody is just flying by the seat of their pants trying cope. No, we did not need this episode to tell us that. That scene wasn't DeNiro and Pacino finally acting in the same scene in Heat at that diner. It was the governor talking about nothing, Rick staring at the floor and Andrea doing her "oh no I'm caught between two worlds and I don't know what to do even though I actually do know what to do but am too scared to do it" act.
Also, EVERY scene back at the prison was totally pointless. What? Merle is a dick who is hard to control? Glen and Maggie like each other? What?

That, especially, was extremely pointless, one of the most pointless scenes I've seen in any show that I watch.trill wrote: Glen and Maggie like each other? What?
I'll admit, though, I liked this episode a lot more than last week's. In general, they underdevelop their characters, and last week's episode is a prime example of how that [expletive] happens. With the Rick v. the Governor stuff reaching fever pitch... they decided to spend 2/3 of an episode on a dude they haven't even mentioned in 2 years. I'd like the show a lot more if it was slower and spent more time helping you care about the characters. As it is now, 90% of the cast might as well be named "Zombie Target #1", "Zombie Target #2", etc...

I don't know, I liked the two sides fighting zombies together. I think it will make the "war" that much more complicated. Those guys don't hate each other. Plus,
