My birthday wasn't great either, but at least I got a good debunking.

Re: Coronavirus
So far everyone I know who has died of Covid has been 60+. A couple of my wife's aunts in Texas died last summer. An uncle here in Chicago spent like a month on a ventilator last year.
But I just found out a friend, unvaccinated, 39 year old female no other health conditions just got out of the hospital after 3 weeks and almost died.
Get the shot! Young and healthy people can still have a hell of a time with it. You never know how your experience is gonna go, so why risk it?

Link is to info about a 49 year old middle school baseball coach I saw play the outfield in a men's league, conversed with him, the picture of health. Two weeks later he was dead from Covid.
Get the damned shot.

Before going to the hospital she even tried ivermectin out of desperation, saying she felt so sick she thought was was going to lose consciousness.Joe Shlabotnik wrote: ↑September 17 21, 2:09 pmhttps://www.rgj.com/story/life/2021/08/ ... 167821002/G. I'm learning all this just today. Wild. She is pretty religious (Catholic) and her husband is a conservative guy from a very religious family, but I didn't know they were on that train.
Edit: this is wild. So her husband's aunt and uncle both also were hospitalized for it. Her husband's brother is a vet so he can get ivermectin. To smuggle it to his aunt and uncle in Wisconsin he dressed up like a priest and visited them in the hospital to pretend to give them communion, slipping them the ivermectin on a cracker. After a mere 3.5 weeks in the hospital they were released. So that's why my friend turned to ivermectin when she caught it, hoping it would keep her out of the hospital (it didn't).
This is just insane. All this nonsense because they don't trust the vaccines. Damn near died all 3 of them. Morans.

At this point, even if Obama created it so that A-Rabs could have The Alamo, I think you just have to roll up your sleeve and get the vaccine. Who will fight Obama if you're dead?

Breaking news:
COVID-19 vaccine for 5 to 11-year-olds is safe and shows 'robust' antibody response, Pfizer says
In a highly anticipated announcement, Pfizer said on Monday a Phase 2/3 trial showed its COVID-19 vaccine was safe and generated a "robust" antibody response in children ages 5 to 11.
These are the first such results released for this age group for a US COVID-19 vaccine, and the data has not yet been peer-reviewed or published. Pfizer said it plans to submit to the US Food and Drug Administration for emergency use authorization soon. The trial included 2,268 participants ages 5 to 11 and used a two-dose regimen of the vaccine administered 21 days apart. This trials used a 10-microgram dose -- smaller than the 30-microgram dose that has been used for those 12 and older.
Participants' immune responses were measured by looking at neutralizing antibody levels in their blood and comparing those levels to a control group of 16- to 25-year-olds who were given a two-dose regimen with the larger 30-microgram dose. Pfizer said the levels compared well with older people who received the larger dose, demonstrating a "strong immune response in this cohort of children one month after the second dose." A Pfizer spokesperson also confirmed that were no instances of myocarditis, a type of heart inflammation that has been linked with mRNA vaccines.
Pfizer said these data will be included in a "near-term submission" for EUA and the companies will continue to accumulate the data needed to file for FDA approval for people ages 5 to 11.

Re: Coronavirus
I have an appointment for my Pfizer booster tomorrow after work. I'll report back with any side effects... such as unwanted pregnancy, anal bleeding, secondary or tertiary heads developing, etc.
(I take an immune suppressing biologic injection for psoriasis and my dermatologist said I should get the booster)
