If this really is done, I should be more excited about this then I am. I hope we can sign him somehow.

One thing it should mean is Ankiel to the bench, which I'm very happy about.

I wish I could be more happy, but I have a really bad feeling that he is going to cut into a lot of Rasmus' playing time.

If it does, he can only blame himself. He's something like 3 for his last 30, but you're probably right in how it'll go down.

Hopefully Holliday rebounds a little coming back to the NL, and I know we've had this conversation on GRB before(that the lineup around a player doesn't make a difference to their own production), but I would have to hope that Holliday being in a much better lineup would help him relax a little and improve his production too.
