My 16 year on again, off again love affair with the Diablo franchise is back in full swing with a nice new patch fixing stuff that had made me play rarely since the last expansion.

Last night I had a dream where I was bartending and found a legendary item in one corner of my bar. So, yeah, I'm gonna take a week or two off.

Anyone playing Hearthstone at all? PIcked it up for the iPad. First card strategy game I've ever played (never did Magic, etc.), it's pretty fun.

I got an invite to the beta. I'd also never actually played anything like that, though I am relatively aware of how MtG worked. I enjoyed stomping the AI stuff. I got completely demolished almost every game I played against humans. I don't know how the matchmaking system worked, but of the 15 or so games I played before saying "alright [expletive] this stupid [expletive]", id say only 3 were against a similarly non leveled, basic pack player.

It was fun to see all the WoW stuff, as a permanently retired former junkie.

I probably win 50% of the time, and I'm definitely not good and haven't paid to buy packs. Beta crowds are intrinsically more skilled than the general public, you should try again.

I stopped playing after the 3rd level. I can't help but try to get all the achievements, but playing out an assassination scenario 5-6 times to get the top score was too grisly.

i hear ya and i too like to get as many "reasonable" acheevos as possible but for whatever reason i dont care *too* much with regard to this game. one thing i know though is that a lot of times you don't have to redo the whole level...im pretty sure you can just do what you need and then quit and it should keep that progress. maybe im wrong though. regardless though, im having fun with it. i like just walking around and seeing all the different possible ways to accomplish things. the game seems to reward you more for going stealth but that ain't always the most fun! not sure how much i'll re-play it, maybe once on professional setting. i still have sleeping dogs, some lara croft game and saints row 3 to play (free games for xbl).

From June 1 through 15, Dark Souls will be available on Xbox 360. Later in the month (from the 16th through 30th), Charlie Murder and the bonus title, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, will be available.

The two Xbox One titles for the month, Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, still don’t have dates. For Xbox One gamers, those titles will be available as long as you are an Xbox Live Gold member (similar to how PlayStation Plus works).

Apparently I'm doing everything backwards since I've already played and finished Saints Row IV but I finally downloaded III on Friday and played a bit this weekend. I've finished 50% of the game according to my save. Enjoying it enough that I'll probably have it finished by the end of the week. I'm playing on casual though. It is pretty darn near impossible to actually get killed and fail most of the missions as long as you can buy a few seconds to hide while your health regenerates.

I can't decide if I love the fact that they give you the drone at the beginning or not. It makes cleaning up all of the gang operations stupidly easy (you can wipe them all out before they even know you are there with the drone) but that does take all of the (little bit of) challenge out of those.
