Rodriguez is the best hitting prospect they’ve had in a long time. They really need him to be a star.

I don't care what position Rainiel plays. We can field a team with 8 guys on the field for all I care as long as he's in the lineup. He's gonna be good.

If he can play third base we can bring him up in September. Can't be worse than the production we are seeing there now.

He's not performing to the level Tavares did and he doesn't have the carrying tools. He's a good prospect, but I would caution against over projecting him.cardsfantx wrote: ↑August 26 26, 11:17 amNot just a long time? Maybe ever?
his numbers are even better than Pujols, and he's younger than Pujols was
(not saying he's going to be Pujols)
86% contact rate vs. 76% for Rodriguez. Tavares had better exit velo's and batted ball profiles as well.
Both similar ages at AA.

he was about 7 months older than Rodriguez is at AA, and Rodriguez has better OBP and SLG than Tavares had at Springfieldphins wrote: ↑August 26 26, 2:40 pmHe's not performing to the level Tavares did and he doesn't have the carrying tools. I have no idea what he will become in MLB, but he's def our best hitting prospect in quite sometime maybe ever IMO
and it really sucks we never got to see just what Tavares could have been...like really sucks
