Pretty massive disappointment but series is only 2-1. Win the next one and it’s a series. I doubt they win on Monday. Bostons just better. In 2 of the 3 games this series Boston has scored 4 unanswered goals. but it ain’t over yet I suppose.

It only counts as one against. There is never a situation in which I'm unhappy with the Blues tied 2-2 in the Stanley Cup Final. Find a way to win on Monday and its a best of 3.

Did pulling the goalie down 3 make sense?

I don't think it much matters.

Let's see how the Blues respond next game; might be a back and forth series.

If you score and make it close, then you can use that to "build momentum" and confidence for game 4. If they score an eng against you, it doesn't really hurt your confidence.

Giving up a 7th goal with Allen in net probably hurts the confidence.

I'm not sure if they Blues need to analyze tape or just throw that one out, but we'll see how they respond tomorrow.

In a lot of ways, they actually played well. The PK was really bad and Binnington had an off night. But the Blues had more shots, took more penalties, held possession well, etc. Those 4 goals over ~10 minutes were just a killer.

It was one of those “when it rains, it pours” nights. Not sure how much you take away from it other than working on the PK.

Tonight's game is either going to make me feel good about the Blues' chances, or come to accept that it is basically over. This is the first time since we were down 3-2 to Dallas that I'm anxious going into a game.

Sundqvist being back will help the PK. I hope. Anything is better than giving up 4 PP goals on 4 shots.

I'd watched boston a little throughout the year and a little more throughout the playoffs.

And, while this is true with most teams, the Bruins take it to a new level when they smell blood. Seems like they have the ability/tendency to play a close game, then get a goal and do their best, often successfully, to open the floodgates.

Thomas and Dunn both skated at optional practice yesterday. I think it will make a big difference to have Thomas and Sundqvist both back in there. Dunn could help (especially on the power play), but I wonder how much rust is there.

I haven't gone back and watched all the goals from Saturday, and I missed large chunks of the game due to storms knocking out my Direct TV off and on. Curious to see what the defensive breakdowns were, but at the same time the game was so horrid I don't really want to relive it. Yesterday was the first time I didn't bother to watch NHL Network because I didn't want to see it.
