A friend asked if I want to go to a concert on Friday. It's only Tuesday but I already think I will probably want to stay home and maybe even go to bed early.

When I get up from a seated position, it usually takes me about 5 to 10 steps before I can stand fully erect - my back is [expletive].

I saw something this morning that got me thinking about Andrew “Dice” Clay and his nursery rhymes and how hard they were to be able to watch. First of all, they were somewhat taboo for the time. But mostly you had to be lucky enough to find someone with a videotape of his HBO special. Not everyone had HBO back in those days like they do know. If that were today everyone would be able to see clips immediately.

I broke down and ordered reading glasses at the eye doc Saturday. They should be in this week. And I'm kinda looking forward to getting them.
