Doesn't he need to land some good players for this to be a "great" offseason? Muir was nothing special in 2009, and then he had a down year. Sims-Walker was allowed to walk without a second look by one of the few teams with a receiving corps as bad as the Rams'. Dahl is a pretty good O-line bruiser, and nobody else they signed has even squeaked into lists of the top 100 free agents.

I'd beg to differ about that. Mikell was a top 100 FA.cpebbles wrote:Doesn't he need to land some good players for this to be a "great" offseason? Sims-Walker wasn't happy about not being the #2 WR with the Jags. Bannan and Muir provide depth. Diles should help the run defense.

The Dahl and Mikkel signings are quality gets. The rest are solid but nothing to get overly excited about. I'm not convinced that Sims-Walker is significantly better than the WRs they already have.

The word is Jerious Norwood is in St. Louis and will sign tomorrow. I'm sure many were hoping for Ronnie Brown, but we've done far worse than Norwood at backup.
