and its so true. im rank 114 in gtav online. thats all ive been doing as far as gaming. gtav is the only one that seems entertaining (and its been dragging for awhile now, hope they release some heists/dlc soon)

there is absolutely no motivation for me to get one of the newer consoles...not yet at least.

I guess the XB1 hasn't been selling too hot so MS is going to package Titanfall with the console for the same price. That's a good thing because the titanfall impressions have been mega positive.

I bought a PS4 at launch and it bores me to tears.

I was in on the Titanfall beta. (like everyone else) It's COD with robots. No depth at all. The maps in the beta were terrible. I guess it's just not my kind of game. I'd prefer Battlefield but even the last Battlefield I played was pretty CODish.

From what I've read if you play Titanfall like CoD you're playing it wrong and it won't be fun.

i think im more or less done with FPS's but i do appreciate this guys perspective. and while he got "internet famous" from CoD he's not necessarily loyal to them but he really likes titanfall and he compares it to the quake/unreal tournament era of gaming

I agree, but it seems like that's how everyone was playing. It was most fun when I got with friends and we played as a team. There are some cool features like wall running and the parkour aspect. Plus a lot of what I did was station my Titan outside an object to play gaurd then I'd run around inside killing bad guys and capturing objectives.

I think with some good maps it could be fun, but everything is really tight and on the two maps in the beta there were just a couple lanes for the Titans to maneuver. It made ambushes pretty easy.

Lots of good XB1 deals out there right now. Newegg and Amazon (coupon: XIAMAZON) have XB1's for 449 with either Forza or Titanfall packed in. I picked up a Titanfall bundle myself.
