I was underwhelmed by the first couple eps, but the last three have been superb.JL21 wrote:This season of Louie has been incredible.

Underwhelmed by the Melissa Leo episode? That's unpossible.

It had solid moments, it was just hard to get there. Miami was uncomfortable - obviously that was part of the point, and no show does it better. Girlfriend 1 is where it started to get really good for me, though.
Girlfriend 2 was brilliantly uncomfortable, and the Robin Williams vignette is possibly my favorite part of the series.

The Marc Maron vignette was my favorite moment of the series. As is displayed below. For hardcore WTF fans, Maron even dropped a "We good? Ok man." for us.

I'm not sure what to make of that one. Posey's behavior screamed mental illness to me, and she never never seems to really listen to Louie, though he does spend most of the time being a lump. There was a time when I would have found that sort of thing exciting, but probably not anymore. Maybe I am also a lump.haltz wrote:Girlfriend 2 was brilliantly uncomfortable

Just started watching Misfits on Hulu. It's a fun little show if you take it for what it is. I'm really excited that the creepy kid from that show has been cast in an important Game of Thrones role. The casting on GoT is amazing. Might be a little spoilery for people who haven't read the books.

Finally up to date (at least netflix/amazon prime-wise) on Mad Men and Damages.
Just not crazy about Dexter and Game of Thrones.
The Wire charges per episode, I like Louie but I can't sit and watch hours of it.
What else is out there? (Free on Amazon Prime, or included in Netflix)
