Again, mods, feel free to somehow make that picture show up on here, since I'm too dumb to do it if the target webpage isn't a youtube video or .jpg picture.
We got 13 or 14 inches here. I have a pretty good size snowblower but the snow was so heavy that it could barely handle it. I had to go over everything twice, and it got stuck often (it is supposed to be self propelled, but needed a lot of help). Then it snowed more and drifted really bad so I had to clear it again this morning. I'm sore and I own a snowblower. There were some areas, like the pile the plows leave at the end of the driveway, that you have to shovel. It probably took me like 90 minutes yesterday, and then another 55 minutes this morning...and Chicago still got 6 more inches than us. Just insane.
Got here about 4pm yesterday, got to the beach. Today 85. Sunny. Only problem is our air conditioning isn't working that great in the room. Need air conditioning.
Got back about midnight last night, still had a couple of slushy inches of snow on the front part of the driveway where the drifts were from the storm. I also keep my garbage stuff there, recyclables and what not. I am home 10 minutes and go to take out the garbage and WHAM. Fell flat on my freaking ass and was lucky I didn't break a wrist. Welcome back to sucktitude!
Shoveled all of that wet stuff and threw salt down.
