The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is hearing that the Rams are the "front-runners" to sign free agent Darrren Sproles.
St. Louis' interest in Sproles hasn't been a secret; they scheduled him for a free agent visit last offseason before the Chargers slapped Sproles with a tender at the last minute. The interest level has remained high, even with Josh McDaniels in the building. How much does mcdaniels rely on ground game to work his offense? I am disappointed we didn't get sproles, but I like some of the other moves and if Josh uses pass to set up run, maybe a lesser rb to back up sj is sufficient.
