Per ESPN: The LLWS has been canceled for the first time in the tournament's history. (It started in 1947.)

It'll be interesting in what they do with the MLB draft this year since all of the college and high school seasons were canceled. I mean you would just be drafting guys based on what they did in their junior seasons. I doubt that many college players would be leaving college early in this current situation. So you could be basically having a double the quality of prospects next year. Even if they had a draft this year there is no minor leagues for them to play in this season anyways.

I don't care if Schilling makes it or not, but I totally want his sock in there.

I don't see anything happening before end of July at earliest.

And given our nation's current trajectory, that's probably a pipe dream.

I think the plans will be for the regular season games starting by late June and early July, with 3 weeks of "spring training" games in June. It basically is contingent on how well the re-openings of these states go in the coming weeks. Honestly, I'm sure MLB is waiting to see how all of that goes before announcing anything official.

i just want baseball strictly for fantasy baseball purposes.

I think a modified shortened season would be fun to watch but my fear is that manfred will get too many ideas.

ESPN will televise South Korea's Korea Baseball Organization games during the upcoming 2020 season, starting with the league's opening day on Tuesday.

ESPN will become the KBO's exclusive English-language home as part of an agreement with Eclat Media Group announced Monday, and it will televise six regular-season games per week.

"We're thrilled to become the exclusive English-language home to the KBO League and to showcase its compelling action and high-level of competition," said Burke Magnus, ESPN's executive vice president of programming. "We have a long-standing history of documenting the game of baseball and we're excited to deliver these live events to sports fans."

The season-opening game between the NC Dinos and Samsung Lions will air on ESPN at 1 a.m. ET on Tuesday.

Most other games will air on ESPN2 at 5:30 a.m. ET from Tuesdays through Fridays, 4 a.m. ET on Saturdays and 1 a.m. ET on Sundays.
