Irrelevant. The Cubs won 80 some odd games in 2014 and missed the playoffs, Oregon made the college olayoffs, ole miss beat alabama, it was 2 years ago. Just because it's the same schools doesn't mean it's the same situation.
Of course we don't know for sure, either way.
Tell me why, regarding personnel, schemes, and strategy it is the same situation.

The circumstances are the same. Alabama big favorites. Nobody gives Ohio State a chance. Ohio State wins.

We've seen it before. I'm not sure why it would be shocking to see it again.

I've explained my point several times. You continue to try to make my point something that it's not. I'm not sure why. I guess it's kinda fun for both of us, but we've probably worn it out.

Right. But your point of osu having a better resume is without basis other than the same two schools (not players or teams) played two years ago with the underdog winning. I love talking college football. Always fun wink wink smile.

Yeah, the resume thing is obviously just my opinion.

My only other point is that the outcome is not a foregone conclusion, which is what was implied earlier.

I'm late to the pissing match, but this isn't really accurate. Alabama will be close to double digit favorites over anyone this year because they are that much better. Two years ago Ohio State was absolutely loaded. The only reason they were big underdogs was because they were down to their third string QB that no one knew much about, Cardale Jones.

They were 9.5 favorites over Ohio State 2 years ago. Isn't that close to double digit favorites?
