Simply put, it seems some of us find meaning in the meaningless and are worse off for it.

I think my personal favorite from facebook is:

"Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… It’s about learning to dance in the rain."

some girl from your friends list has definitely posted this quote at some point

My step-daughter left her FB account signed in on a shared computer - since I'm not on FB I thought I'd check it out -it was full of stuff like that and relationship b.s. with likes and comments by people like my aunt who sees my daughter maybe once every 5 years.

More than any major site of any sort ever, I loathe Twitter the most. I still can't decipher the Tweets Retweets or who is typing to whom. I dearly wish it would melt shrieking into a sea of lava.

Whoever runs the Rams FB account can rot in h-e-double hockey sticks. When your team abandons a city at least have the freaking decency to start a new account instead of just changing your name. The last thing I want to see right now is updated celebrating the Rams' return to LA.

I'm not sure that really needed to be studied. If you know the people that are posting those kind of things you know they aren't exactly the great thinkers of society.

These same people tend to post 20 of these damn things a day. That's an unfollow for me. "Like & Share if you agree" is an other way to guarantee I won't like or share whatever was posted.
