No, I broke things off with the other girl. She just wasn't getting her stuff together and moving forward. No animosity or anything, I just couldn't do it anymore.lukethedrifter wrote:Is this in addition to the other girl you're dating?tlombard wrote:Even when you wake up Saturday morning and are still drunk, go to the lake with your dad if he wants you to. Ended up seeing some old family friends who were down there cleaning up the lot they just bought. Helped them, had a few beers and then we took the pontoon for a cruise around the lake (sober dad, not drunk Tony behind the wheel) before heading back home in time to meet up with some girl I met Friday at the bar who apparently is into me. I woke up Sunday morning to a text from after I crashed Saturday night referring to me as a sexy mf'er so I'd say that is a good sign.

I pulled over to help this old lady with a flat tire. I think she was kind of afraid of me at first , but after I changed the tire she gave me a huge hug and tried to pay me. Lol

My parents went to the same high school as Nelly. #UCitylifelukethedrifter wrote:Andre 3000 and Big Boi went to the same high school as my Dad in the Atlanta area.

Whether or not Bartolo Colon can excel at your sport is a good litmus test for the greatness of your sport.

There's nothing worse than the week before vacation... unless you're also short handed at work.

I love the fact that you end up having to work so hard in preparation for your vacation that, by the time you get to the vacation, you desperately need it twice as much as you did before.

Yup. And I get it... sweeps just ended last week, and that's a vacation blackout period, so when it's over, everyone lines up to take time off.JL21 wrote:That is the absolute worst.MrCrowesGarden wrote:There's nothing worse than the week before vacation... unless you're also short handed at work.

But being near bare bones on a night when there's five tornadoes in your viewing area is no bueno.

Re: Random musings
It pisses me off when people say "I need a vacation from my vacation."
