I don't think there is a wealthy enough owner out there to build their own stadium in San Diego.

So basically now all that San Diego has is the Padres and Comic Con.

I don't feel as bad for Chargers fans as fans of teams that move clear across the country. For the most part you can still keep your season tickets if you so chose to. Just now it's going to be 1.5 to 2 hour drive to the game each way. While not ideal its still doable to where you can drive up for the games without having to get a hotel for the night, unless you want to party after the game. It's the distance equivalent as if the Rams moved to Springfield, IL.
