I'm watching tonight and it's Doug McDermott's turn. He has looked completely overmatched the previous 2 nights, I was convinced he'd never see the court again this year, and here he is putting on a show. Energy level off the charts, I'm out of breath watching him.

Thibs lead teams are always fun to watch and likable because you always seem to get effort.

BTW what is the deal with the uniforms. Los Bulls? Los Thunder? Is it really paying heritage to the latin american culture by inserting the definite article before the name of the team?

Steph Curry is pretty much the most fun you can have with your clothes on right now.

reading an espn nba chatwrap, 'cause im so bored at work, and wondered if the bulls fans would agree with this last statement:
jonathan (pennsylvania)

could the bull make the playoffs without D rose
Michael Wallace

Yes, and they will. It's practically impossible for Chicago to fall out of the playoff picture at this point. And they will also be a very tough out regardless of Rose's presence. This is the best team they've had in the Rose injury era.

I agree with both of those statements. Unfortunately, I also think it's almost irrelevant. Without Rose (and I mean a healthy, confident Rose), the Bulls are an also-ran.

It is the best team they have had in the Rose injury era, but ... but.

I think Cleveland takes the East.

A Thibodeau-Bulls split seems inevitable. Where do you think his next job is, and who ideally replaces him?
Chad Ford

I'm not sure about inevitable, but it seems to be heading that way ...yes. I think the Bulls have their eye on Fred Hoiberg, Iowa State's head coach. He's the most coveted young coaching name out there. As for Thibodeau? There will be a long line. He's sooooo good. Even if he's tough to live with, any contender would have to take a long look at him. There will be a lot of good head coaches sweating if he comes on the market. GMs can be ruthless when it comes to upgrades.
