Contempt for Holland transcends fandom and partisanship. There's something deeply human about hating an overpaid incompetent who messes things up for the rest of us.

Hate the Cardinals for signing him. I don't get that. He leveraged his situation and the Cardinals signed him. DeWitt should be the one hated. DeWitt has so much money that 14 million to Holland is just a sneeze.
